Engineers use both science and technology to turn ideas into reality, devising all sorts of things, ranging from a tiny, low-cost battery for your cell phone to a gigantic dam across the mighty Yangtze River in China.
Prerequisites
Bring a notebook and pencil.
Write a short answer (1 paragraph):
“What do engineers do?”
Bring one example of something at home they think an engineer helped create.
Scouts can optionally:
Interview a real engineer
Visit an engineering company
Improve one class project at home
